The Red Road to Wellbriety is a book and movement rooted in Native American cultural and spiritual traditions, offering a path to sobriety and wellness. It integrates the teachings of the 12-Step program with Indigenous wisdom, emphasizing balance, respect, and healing through traditional practices like storytelling, ceremonies, and connection to nature. The approach promotes community healing, recognizing the impact of historical trauma on addiction.

Design Recovery implements the principles of The Red Road to Wellbriety by incorporating Indigenous values into addiction treatment. This includes using cultural rituals, teachings, and holistic healing methods alongside conventional recovery programs. Additionally, we integrate eco-therapy with these teachings, encouraging individuals to heal through nature-based activities such as wilderness experiences, gardening, and land stewardship. By fostering a deep connection to the Earth, along with spiritual and ancestral ties, this approach enhances emotional well-being, accountability, and long-term sobriety.
